A F T E R the cure was release to the public, the mutant community has started to panic. Already their fear of being forced the cure has come true. Already countless mutants have been injected with the cure. Those remaining have gone into hiding, biding their time until they can put a stop to the chaos surrounding the mutant world. Until they are no longer forced the cure.
Twenty years have passed, and things seem to be peaceful. No longer is there news on the television of mutant attacks, or news on the lastes mutants captured and forced the cure. Many now believe the mutants who they once feared, are now existant for good. Boy were they wrong, peace just doesn't last long when you try and wipe out whole groups of people.
A small group of mutants had banned together in the early years of hiding, banned together to survive. They named themselves the Mutant Rebellion. The Mutant Rebellion was formed by the original members of the X-Men and Brotherhood, with any mutants who weren't in either group. They provided somewhere safe for mutant-kind to hide from the world.
As years passed, the members of the Mutant Rebellion began to argue amoung themselves as to what they should do. Stay in hiding or show the world they were still around. Many of the members even wanted to enslave the humans who have made them go into hiding like they were animals. With different ideas seprating them, the Mutant Rebellion split into three. Once again the Brotherhood and the X-Men have returned, both content to stay in hiding.
Until one day the remaining members of the Mutant Rebellion attack New York City. Once again fear is sparked into the rest of the world as they come to realize that the mutants they had thought were existant were anything but. As the Mutant Rebellion starts to grow in power, it is up to the X-Men to defeat the Mutant Rebellion, to try and get the world to see that not all mutants are bad. Can the new generation of X-Men change the world, or will the Mutant Rebellion be able to conquer it all. And what the hell happened to the Brotherhood?!
