FULL HISTORY. Sophie loved living in Boston. She lived in Boston for the first ten years of her life. She was always the smallest and the most adorable. She seemed to still look the age of seven when she was ten. Her parents once thought it might be something actually wrong with her, but the doctor said that her growth hormones just might be slower, and indeed they were. She didn't start puberty until two years ago.
When Sophie was ten, her kidney failed, for some reason unknown. Her sister CarolAnne, who was her only donor, so CarolAnne gave up one of her kidneys for Sophie, her and her parents not knowing at the time that CarolAnne was cancerous, and by giving her kidney to Sophie, she also gave her cancerous cells. CarolAnne found out a couple of months later and went into a downward spiral, followed shortly by Sophie. CarolAnne died a couple of months after that.
Four years later, Sophie and her family moved to La Push, to get out of the bad city air pollution and for the Forks doctors who were more personal than the Boston doctors. She is still kind of the new girl, but she is officially cancer free, and allowed to go back to school.
